- Wonderful book which shares not only the harsh realities of addiction but also about recovery from "a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body". As someone in longterm recovery it was so important for me to not only identify with and see my struggle in the stories of others but to also see what success in recovery can look like too. This book does an excellent job of relating both sides of that coin. Thank you to the authors for sharing your struggles and success's with the world.

- AMAZING book. I couldn’t put it down. So full of IMPORTANT experiences, strength and hope. A huge thank you to the authors for their candid, open, heartfelt experiences. It’s through sharing these experiences that others can learn that they are not alone. For me there is no other way than to recover out loud. This book had me feeling all the feelings, and gave me even more resolve to do everything in my power for the alcoholic/addict that still suffers. This is a must read for ANYONE touched in any way by addiction.

- I just finished this book and will read it again! I’m in recovery myself but learned so much more from this book. So many resources for the addict or family member/friend. Everyone knows someone that deals with addiction. This book tells you what it was like for each author (and a few others), what happened and what they are like now. Addiction is different for everyone and in this book you see that recovery can be too! I am keeping my own copy but will buy one to lend to others. - Scott Leeper is a personal friend of mine and I have enjoyed seeing him grow and share his phenomenal story in this book along with his two co-authors. This book is a MUST read for anyone! I enjoyed the book very much and I highly recommend it!!
